What we believe

Chapel in the Pines is an Evangelical Covenant church located in the Sierra Nevada mountain community of Arnold, CA. Arnold is an attraction for many due to the many recreation opportunities such as Big Trees State Park, Bear Valley Mountain Resort, Ebbetts Pass, and more.

Our essential beliefs are summed up in the Covenant Affirmations (see www.covchurch.org), the Nicene Creed, and the Apostles Creed. We believe the church is not an institution, organization, or building, but that it is a grace filled fellowship of believers who participate in the life and mission of Jesus Christ led by the Holy Spirit. Until His return, we worship, serve, and witness so the whole earth may hear God’s voice, learn of God’s love, and experience God’s joy.
