Summer for the Johnsons in Alaska began on a cool day on June 20.
Wesley (left) and Nate wear their safety helmets as they get ready
to jump on their speed bikes and take off.

Nate, Laurel, and Wesley (left to right) pose in front of an attractive quilt.

Look at the beautiful smiles of Laurel, Wesley, and Nate.

Eric had this photo taken to substantiate his "78-pound fish tale."

Across the street, the Johnsons caught sight of Mama Moose and her calf, strolling along.

July 4: The boys, by themselves, camped out in the backyard.

July 20: Eric catches two Kenai Reds. Alaskan residents can "dipnet" for up to 65 salmon
(25 salmon for the head of household and 10 for each additional family member)
yearly. That's why Eric says, "That's plenty for winter! I love Alaska."

July 28: Eric's brother Matt, sister-in-law Janelle, and nephew Michael got together for a family photo.
Also posing nicely is Freddy, the chocolate Labrador/Basset Hound, the Johnson's latest family addition.

Nate loves soccer this summer, playing in the boys and girls league.

Freddy loves to fetch, no matter what is thrown nor where.

August 24: "Little Sunshine" Laurel turned 6 months young!

August 24: Meghan and Laurel enjoyed a family hike.

Wesley has a good time hiking with his family and his lollypop.

All four guys took in the beauty that abounded during their family hike.
